Born and raised on the north shore of Long Island, Jeremy is a very Jewish comedic television writer focused on writing for animation!
A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, he’s always had a passion for telling stories, building worlds, and making people laugh and smile. Often at the same time! His writing is inspired by all the weird and whimsical shows that helped him get through his own young adulthood. He’s particularly drawn to stories about close-knit friendships and uncertain futures, with characters who are struggling to find their place in the world or dealing with feelings of longing and loneliness.
Jeremy has written several pilots, including OUT OF THIS WORLD- a coming-of-age space adventure- and BAR MITZVAH BOYS- a semi-autobiographical slice-of-life comedy- as well as an adaptation of the hit indie video game series FROG DETECTIVE. He has also written spec scripts for shows like Bob’s Burgers, Solar Opposites, and The Ghost and Molly McGee. His scripts have been honored with quarter and semifinalist placements across contests led by ScreenCraft, Stage 32, Filmmatic, and the Austin Film Festival.
While studying at NYU, Jeremy had the opportunity to intern at various late night shows, including The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, where he worked directly with the writers and the script department. He later worked as a production assistant on Saturday Night Live. He has written and performed sketch comedy as part of Moshpick, and has performed live on stage at both UCB and The PIT in New York City.
